We’re going to slip these thumb gusset stitches onto scrap yarn. Thread your scrap yarn onto a yarn needle Slide your needle through the stitches you want to hold. Oops, one too many. Pull the needle all the way through, and leave the scrap yarn behind. Tie the ends together to make sure no stitches are lost by mistake. Take your working yarn between your index finger and thumb, pivot your hand to create a loop, Put your right needle into the loop, and gently pull the yarn to secure. Repeat that step for each new stitch required. Continue knitting as usual. Done! You’re becoming quite the knitting ninja.
