Hello. Today I’m going to show you how to make the Tunisian knit stitch. The Tunisian knit stitch creates a beautiful fabric that looks knitted on one side and the other side is a little bit different than knitting, but I love the Tunisian knit stitch so let’s get started. You have your first row made. Look at the vertical bars. We will be working in the second vertical bar because your first stitch is already on your hook. To make the Tunisian knit stitch, insert your hook from right to left and through the back yarn over and pull up a loop. Insert your hook from right to left and through the back. Yarn over and pull a loop. Keep repeating that until you reach the end of your row to make your forward pass. If you do not know how to Tunisian crochet i have a link below to my video on how to Tunisian crochet. When you reach the end of your row, you do not have a vertical bar to work through so turn your work and put your hook to the two loops at the end of your work yarn over and pull up a loop. Now you’re going to need to make your return pass back. Yarn over, draw up one loop, yarn over and pull through 2. Keep repeating this and that is the Tunisian knit stitch.
