How to Crochet – Single Crochet


Insert your hook into the 2nd chain
from the hook. Yarn over and pull out a loop.
Now you’ve got 2 loops on your hook. Yarn over and go through both loops on
the hook. You just made a single crochet stitch!
Now let’s do that again. Yarn over and pull out a loop.
Now you got 2 loops on your hook. Yarn over and go through both loops on the hook and just repeat to the end of the row. Sometimes it can be difficult to identify the last stitch. One way of doing it, is to turn your work slightly and look for the V on the top. If it looks like a V it’s a stitch. Another way of doing it, is to mark the last stitch before starting a new row.
