How to crochet – basics for beginners – single crochet stitch

Hello everyone! This is crochet basics video tutorial in which I’ll show you how to make a single crochet stitch. First, make a foundation chain. Then insert your hook into the second – first – second chain from your hook, grab the yarn and pull it through. You should have two loops on your hook. Then again, grab the yarn and pull it through the two stitches. Now you should have one loop left on your hook. This is your first single crochet. Now work one single crochet in each chain to end of the row. In this chain work second single crochet. In the following chain work third single crochet and so on. At the end of the first row work one returning chain and turn. Crochet second and all other rows like your first one. Work single crochet in the second chain – first, second, and all the way across. At the end of each row work one returning chain. So, that’s how I work single crochet rows and thank you for watching.
