  • What an interesting stitch!!! I had to lol every time you said double treble, I thought you were saying double trouble and I bet the first few times you do that it will be trouble!!! LOL!!! TFS

  • I think this would be great for a American Flag blanket! How would you change it for the blue field of stars? Or would you just do solid blue and add stars later?

  • Can you post some videos teaching some more holiday Afghan patterns for someone who’s teaching themselves to crochet while having fibromyalgia and RA? Thank you.

  • Does it work with only one particular kind of yarn, because I'm having a difficult time when using the treble Stitch.
The two stitches don't come together. It's like there's just yarn that's not coming together for the top, to make that point at the top of, let's say, to make it look like a triangle. For instance.
I don't think I'm doing it right but I'm unfollowing exactly what you're showing, in this video.
    I can't even describe it.

  • You know, of all the instructors that I have watched and certainly learned a thing or two, you, my dear, are the most like me! You explain mistakes that you make, even though you are absolutely NOT a novice. I applaud you! I am retired from a job that I worked 40 years on. I have crocheted since I was a teen, and I can tell you that I learned more from my mistakes than I ever learned from being perfect. You are an excellent teacher. Keep up the good work!

  • Mikey, I need to ask a favor. When you do a pattern like this, where the entire first row is the same stitch, could you give a heads up so that those of us who prefer foundation crochet, as opposed to chains, could start with you. I find myself having to wait for row 1, check the counts, and hopefully come up with the same stitch count. This pattern has multiples of Ch4 as a base, plus Ch3, then Hdc into 3rd chain. I think that gives me a count of 4's plus 2, which matches the pattern count. I guess what I'm asking is: could you give a stitch count in total or by multiples plus whatever count for those who do foundation, please?
